In France, consent for an exterior sign takes about two months to
process. That period is set by regulation: it is not negotiable and
it cannot be speeded up.
The classic mistake is to submit the file after the quotation has
been approved, with manufacture already under way. The project is
then held up for two months before installation, and the opening
date falls through.
We put the file together during the design phase and submit it as
soon as the visuals are approved, without waiting for the pricing to
be closed. Processing then runs while the workshop produces, and not
afterwards. That is what puts manufacture and processing in the same
period instead of one after the other.
